Inside Orio al Serio Airport, we created a state-of-the-art installation consisting of five ultra-high-definition LED screens (pixel pitch 1.87), giving life to the “Demetra” project.
The goal: to make masterpieces of sacred art accessible to the wider public, offering travellers an immersive cultural experience as they pass through the airport.
Through ultra-high-resolution scanning, works by masters such as Lorenzo Lotto, Giambattista Tiepolo, Giovanni Francesco Capoferri, and others are reproduced on the LED panels with extraordinary fidelity, capturing every detail as if standing before the originals.
The project was made possible through collaboration between the Bernareggi Foundation, the Diocesan Museum, and the Office for Cultural Heritage, who jointly promoted this unique initiative in artistic enhancement.
